One of the highlights was the local thrift store visit. I can't rave about the local stores enough, what makes it even better are the amazing and helpful people that work there. You know those kind of people that after talking to them you think about them and beam from their energy all day, well I was lucky enough to have such an experience. To add to it, he gave me a great deal on a table and completely awesome new desk chair for my office/studio space project, looks like I will be able to completely set it all up by Saturday morning. Look out THE BLOCK (home reno show), I can do a room in a couple of days! I am totally thrilled and cannot wait to have it all set up.

Other things that made me smile ear to ear yesterday.
Having a friend bring me my favourite middle eastern food for lunch / Sending a fake letter to a co-worker declining her travel visa to the US this weekend... and it went well! / buying a skirt and realising at the checkout it is half the marked price / finding a 'shop soiled' cushion for $5 / a friend at work doing the coffee run on a cold morning / discovering a delicious new green smoothie with pineapple, kiwi fruit, apple, spinach and banana with chia seeds / coming home to see my new office furniture in the driveway / a funny phone conversation with mum on the way home from work.
How has your week been? Anything positive come your way? Sometimes it only needs to be something small or even a split second memory to bring a smile to your face. And hey, if this week wasn't your week, there is good news! It's Friday!
