We decided to head South East to Phillip Island. This is such a wonderful part of the world, with great surfing, wildlife encounters (parade of penguins anyone?), produce and markets. It also hosts a large music festival every New Years Eve, which is pretty fun sitting up on a cliff edge watching the sun go down listening to a bunch of awesome bands - though I am in my mid-twenty-somethings now, so my festival camping ability is somewhat fading.
If I had to describe my perect date, it would be our time down here, as lovers of wildlife, vintage/thrift stores, the beach and a good doseage of fish and chips this was our haven!
I would love to hear about your long weekend plans? What did you get up to ?
This market is amaze-balls. Not your typical handy craft type, but one for hoarders of vintage pieces and lovers of old world treasures - and yes I picked up a few pieces :)
I died and went to trunk heaven when I found this, but she was a pretty $275 pennies dollars.
How amazing is this full lace 1950's wedding dress - if only she came in my life about 10 months ago and only $495!

As someone who lives in Victoria I can't agree that it's interesting haha, but you did a good job of making it look like it. It's also funny to say that I've been to all these places and never once took notice.
