I saw this quote recently, if you're like me you would have paused for a minute. How often to we look forward to an end result when the 'inbetween' moments and the journey were the most memorable?

I think back to when we lived in England for a year, it is not the dozens of trips we took through Europe but the time we spent in England with our new found friends that is most memorable. Think back to you most precious memory, was it one you anticipated?

The Weekend Wrap up

This weekend was our first trip to the snow for the season, I am amazed we held out till August! Though conditions were not on our side and visibility was about 10-20metres. At one point I looked ahead, saw another skier going backwards and my immediate reaction was "she's mad in these conditions" then thought "Well, actually is it me or her skiing backwards ? I wouldn't know" and it was not like you would see any less by doing it.

Natually I didn't take my camera up onto the slopes, which was a shame since I was looking forward to using the new wide angle lens, but I did snap a few along the way and the iPhone took care of the rest.

Things making me super excited this week: Reflecting on a beautiful conversation with Grandma Berry on her youth, marriage (64th wedding anniversary knocking) and photography / being productive this week / getting back to the gym post-flu / planning a visit from a good old friend from England and his gorgeous new fiancé / getting pampered at TKS Hair & Beauty.
