Hi there! I'm Monika, the creative producer behind MB Captured.
This is my little online home, to bring you stunning design, photography and injections of happiness and positivity to live a big beautiful life, as I rediscover my creativity and freedom of living. It is medication for my indecisive dreaming, an outlet for me to share my journey and all things that inspire me.
I am a soon to be first time mum, graphic designer, photographer, decor and stationery obsessed and adventure seeker. I hope to connect with lovely souls, to inspire and encourage one another.
A bit more about me
I'm an 86' baby, so while I wasn't rocking out over sized colour blocked outfits in my youth (perks of a pattern drafting mother), I was popping up all over Australia and in over 9 different schools. I discovered that 'settled' was a word used for old people and home is definitely wherever the heart is.
I learnt from any early age that there is no such thing as 'normal' or rules you need to guide your life by. Creativity is our gift, it is in all of us, we just leave it behind in our childhood. I did too.
Fast forward a few years to 2012, the year I married my best friend, quite literally. We were best buddies in High School and wasn't until our young adult life in the real world that we realised we had something pretty special.
This is the year I also began to rediscover my creativity and enrolled in graphic design, stocked up on camera lens' and started to play. Since then MB Captured has become my outlet to share this, build my portfolio and live the life I always dreamed of.
In 2013 I am working on realising some of my creativity and sharing it with you in a new way, offering my services for hire and a few lines for sale! There is still much to be done in this department but I cannot wait.
